Do I understand this part of the guidelines to mean that when inviting delegates to our Industry arranged training and education meetings we can send open invitations to the HCO (and have them select the attendees) OR directly invite HCPs (with of course a pre-notification to the HCO).

For trainings run by industry as per Chapter 3 of the MedTech Code I understand that it is ONLY acceptable to send open invitations to the HCO (the Institution then selects the attendees). We would however be able to request a department to be targeted in the selection (could we be more specific that just stating a department?)

For direct sponsorship of Third Party Procedural Trainings I understand that it IS acceptable to send a named invitation to an HCP.”
