CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
to join Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Sales team in Helsinki.
Abbott’s rapid diagnostics business is focused on delivering the right care, at the right time, with a comprehensive portfolio of tests that provide fast, reliable and actionable information at the point of care to help enable better clinical and economic health outcomes.
As the Customer Service Representative, you have a key role in representing the company as you are the first point of contact to support customers such as Hospital’s, GP’s, Pharmacies and Patients as well as key distributors across Europe. You liaise directly with customers on a variety of issues such as pricing, inventory availability, terms, delivery or general question.
You investigate and resolve order processing issues reported by customers and work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve customer queries. You keep up to date on products, inventory levels, special requirements and promotions, communicated from various departments to support the delivery of an excellent customer service. You support phone staff by helping in escalated customer inquiries concerning organizational products or services and provide information when responding to complex customer inquiries regarding customer accounts and billing.
You have a key role also internally as your role includes assisting e.g., sales and finance and the Managing Director of Abbot Rapid Diagnostic Finland in various tasks such as finance, invoicing, purchasing, and new product related tasks. You will have the possibility to work in a broad role with interesting products where you have the chance to learn and develop yourself.
Key responsibilities, include:
– Communicating proactively with internal and external customers regarding order status and other topics
– Taking responsibility of order processing, problem solving, admin support for the commercial sales team and logistic support for both internal and external customers.
– Reviewing and maintaining customers open orders on a daily basis
– Collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy of data maintained on SAP
– Ensuring that all orders are processed through the ERP systems
– Keeping customer account changes up to date and communicated to the commercial sales team
– Working with the central warehouse and supply chain team with regards to inventory, escalations and customer inquiries.
– Working with Finance regarding invoicing and invoice related issues
– Complying with and executing applicable Quality Management System (QMS) processes, to support the delivery of an excellent customer experience.
What do we expect from you?
In order to succeed in this role, you have relevant education (minimum High School) and/or completion of customer service-related courses and a few years of experience from working in a customer service role. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English and are proficient in MS Office programs, you have preferably worked with SAP or other ERP systems. You enjoy working with people and you have a natural customer service attitude. You are positive, patient and a good listener as well as have excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills. You are detail-oriented, a critical thinker and experienced in investigating and resolving complex issues and seeking solutions. You work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. You are eager to learn about the products in order to assist your customers in the best possible way.
You enjoy working in a customer service centric role, with multiple responsibilities and you are eager to learn and develop yourself.
